Hi, I'm Kelly…

That's me on the left with my fabulous husband, Gary, who took me to the Point du Gard in France. He's been showing me around the world for over 30 years which is great except for the packing.
I suck at packing!

About 8 years ago my son-in-law gave me a blog for Christmas.
Some women are nuts for shoes, or crafts or fitness.
Me, I love blogs.

I have a couple of others, but this is a blog for fun. 
No niche, no agenda, no schedule, no offers, NO ADS, I absolutely can't stand blogs with ads. 
You're invited and very very welcome to read it, like it, even share it, but I'm saying up front that like Julia Cameron's Morning Pages I'm writing here for me.

Facts so far:
I'm Kelly and I'm married to Gary.
I've been to France. So has he.
I suck at packing.
I've travelled a lot and should be better by now at packing.
I have a daughter (at least one) who's married to a guy who gave me a blog for Christmas. Unwrapped, of course.
I have shoes, but not an obsession with them.
I love blogs!!!
I've read a little of Julia Cameron's book, The Artist's Way.

Other details: 
I love God and I've known Jesus as my Lord and Savior for 48 years. My spiritual gift is teaching.
We have 5 grown kids, 14 grandkids and 5 great-grandkids.
Charlotte, the cocker-spaniel, lives with Gary & me. She loves to shred up paper towels and generally make a mess.

Fair warning, this may turn out like one of those awful movie experiences where you stay cuz it just HAS to get better.

Now we'll discover the optimists in our midst :)
